Friday 5th July. Swim

I didn't find this mornings swim too easy.  The sets have got harder. After 12 warm up lengths and 16 lengths of various drills like, one arm only, arms only, legs only.  The sets were 6x8 lengths of speed work, resting 30 seconds between each set.
A few weeks ago I took to wearing a baggy tee shirt to swim in to increase the resistance.  Sometimes I hate that tee shirt, but it will pay off.

Strangely enough once I'm half way through my work out, it gets easier as my right shoulder takes ages to warm up and then the pain in it eases.  I have no idea why it hurts, but its only for the first half of the swim.

As usual, after the swim I felt great!
